Business Administrator: Penny Demerath
Parish Custodian: Donald Placzkowski
Meeting convened at 6:54pm. The committee welcomed new member Randy Lorge.
Minutes of the last committee meeting of February 17, 2005, were circulated
and reviewed.
Penny Demerath reported the following items have been approved by the Finance
Council and are included in the next fiscal years, budget, July 1, 2005 - June
30, 2006.
Sacred Heart School-
· Repair / replacement of the flat roof area at the north entrance to the
school.
· Replacement of 6 actuator valves in the heating units of school classrooms.
· Emergency lighting installation in the hallways and stairways.
· New floor carpeting in one school classroom.
· Re-paint the white board surface in the First Grade classroom.
· Installation of a pneumatic thermostat in the custodian office.
Church-
· Replace the circulating pump in the church basement which circulates air thru
the school gymnasium.
Parish Center-
· Replace the entrance steps and decking at the southeast entrance to the
Parish Center. This is planned to be done in June 2005, as most of the funding
is already appropriated in the current fiscal year's budget for this project.
· Landscaping around the Parish Center, most likely in the fall of 2005, with
parish volunteers to do the installation and work.
· Replacement of the roof over the garage attached to the northwest corner of
the Parish Center.
Parish Rectory-
· The flooring in the kitchen and bath / laundry area will be replaced with
ceramic tile.
· The front steps are sinking and will need to be fixed, possibly by
mud-jacking.
Other-
· Penny Demerath reported that via the school budget for the next fiscal year
the actuator valve located in the computer lab room heating unit and the
ballasts in the lights in this same room will be replaced.
· Also we need a little more mulch added to the island near the church carport
and Penny will talk to the Mrs. Maczuzak about possibly having school children
do this.
· Also thru funding supplied by two parish organizations we have purchased and
installed a new stove in the church basement kitchen.
Meeting adjourned 7:29 pm, next meeting tentatively scheduled for May 19,
2005, Parish Center. Penny will advise if we need to meet in May about 2 weeks
prior.
Respectfully submitted-
Kyle Alexander
