New Business:
A. Policies numbered 5075, 5085, 5095, 5105 and 6005 were reviewed for changes. Suggestion was made to add verbiage to policy # 5075 to include: Athletic director is to meet with the administrator prior to the beginning of the sport season to verify that all coaches have been properly trained in regard to Diocesan requirements when having contact with the children. Also, the last sentence in policy # 5105 needs to be changed per Diocesan guidelines to state the following: There will be at least two chaperones for every 10 athletes for all away games.
B. School calendar was presented and explained by Lois. August 30 is orientation. Planning to better publicize the "Chrysler Drive a Car" promotion at orientation, which is an easy way to generate funds for our school. MaryEllen is waiting on several factors such as Missions, Confirmation and the Net Team prior to finalizing the religious education calendar.
C. Denise passed out self-evaluations to all Board members to complete and return to her at the May meeting.

Confirmation students will be meeting with MaryEllen to discuss adding more contemporary music to be included in one of the weekend masses.
E. School Administrator - Lois reports the new computers will be ordered in two weeks. Wendy, Kara and Lois will be installing the new computers after the end of school. The Tech Academy program sponsored by the Shawano-Gresham School District is being considered by staff to attend to receive continuing education credits. Mr. Hamacher will not be returning in the fall. Mr. Heil will be moving down to the 6th grade, so recruitment has begun for a new 8th grade teacher. The four-year old kindergarten program will not be happening next fall due to enrollment of the five-year old kindergarten being at 12 - 18 registrations. Tentative total school registration is at 149 students. Lois is closely monitoring the discipline problem in the 6th grade; improvements have been made. In-services are being held with staff in use of the new "smart board" and the free software that is included. Lois also requested on behalf of the 8th grade class for Board approval of their proposed class trip. Proposal consisted of rental of a Lamers' coach bus down to Wisconsin Dells to take a tour on the Wisconsin Ducks, along with stopping at Mount Olympus amusement park and/or the Kalahari indoor water park with the trip costing approximately $1400 to $1450. Proposed trip was approved by the Board.
