Meeting Minutes
Meeting was called to order by Denise Stueck at 6 p.m.
In attendance: Denise Stueck, Lois Maczuzak, MaryEllen Waldvogel, Alex Schreiner, Ron Henn, Fred Ponschok, Penny Demerath, Tom Berg, Mark Fuller, Becky Dillenburg, Linda Meisner and Nancy Schauer
Opening Prayer: was performed
Approval of Agenda: Ponschok moved, Schreiner seconded to approve agenda. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes: Fullermoved, Ponschok seconded to approve minutes. Motion carried.
Financial Statements: Henn moved, Dillenburg seconded to approve the school’s financial statements. Schauer moved, Schreiner seconded to approve the religious education’s financial statements. Motion carried.
Informational Reports:
- Home & School – They have approximately $14 to $15,000 in savings. Part of the monies will be used to pay for upcoming field trips. Also discussing using monies for either tire chips for the playground or part of purchasing new bleachers for the gym.
- Director of Religious Education – updated the Board on the coordinator/facilitator position. Much discussion centered around two full time coordinator positions. Committee was handed the job descriptions but were unable to meet. The positions will be advertised while the committee finalizes the job descriptions. April 30 is First Eucharist, May 3 is May crowning, May 8 is 8 th grade retreat, etc.
- School Administrator – Updated the Board on staff changes. Mrs. Krueger and Mrs. Mastrodonato will be retiring at the end of the 2006 school year. Planning for a celebration. Mrs. Krueger will return to teach one day and prepare lesson plan for another day during the same week. Mrs. Mastrodonato will teach reading (as the literacy helper). Teaching positions were discussed and room assignments for the 2006/2007 school year. Five proposals were received for replacement of the gym floor (which is scheduled to be paid from the Bleser Foundation monies). Much discussion centered on the types of floors that were proposed for replacement. On the 125 th anniversary a comment was made that we will be booking the Mielke Park for and wine and cheese party with the current and alumni members. (possibly on 10/14/06)

- Athletic Committee – Athletic banquet was set for April 25, 2006
- Finance Council – see Financial Council minutes
- BTCE Committees
- Personnel –Will be used to interview the facilitator responses received
- Budget Proposal –no action taken.
- Policy – no action taken.
- Development –task force update
- Technology –no action taken

Announcements: Next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the Parish Center, Upper Level
