CCW Dinner Meeting
May 2, 2005-Anello's Supper Club

A delicious meal of prime rib and fish with all the trimmings was served to about 25 members.
Meeting called to order. Secretary's report approved on motion by Bonnie Engel second
Helen Jaskolski and carried. Treasurers report approved on motion by Dorothy Paterick, second Carol Soufal and carried. As ofApriI30th-$8,998.52 in checking and $5,169.96 in MM.
A moment of silence was held for Francis Kugel who was a great inspiration to rummage sale workers.
Thank you to all who worked during the rummage sale...was a great crew and about $2200 was realized. 4 boys from the high school helped clean up on Sat for their service hours. Geri will send a thankyou note to each. Also a great big thanks to all the men who help. Great job Florence!
New Business: Bishop Zubic is asking all affiliates to send letters to our 2 new seminarians, encouraging them in their works of faith...sample letter was shown, bios, pics and addresses were given to each lady.
Marion Day will be May 19 at St John's in Antigo..Father Toddy, formerly of Sacred Heart will be the speaker.
Pre-register by May 13.
The Vicariate II South Fall meeting will be held at Leopolis on Oct 20. This may be the same day as the rummage sale set-up.
Raffle tickets are available for the NCCW 2005 Convention in Atlanta, GA.
Letter received from Penny Demerath regarding new security procedures at the center.
Camp Tekewitha applications were available. 8 in all..3 boys and 5 girls. The group decided on boys-
Christopher Berg and Joey Skarlupka and girls-Lois Frank and Kaitlyn Popavich...all are first timers
except
for Joey. The rest of the applicants had already been sponsored before. Tarz Eberlein will sponsor 2 and
CCW will sponsor 2. ~
Installation of officers was to take place, however the correct verbage was not available and Father was
not
there. Installation will take place at the September meeting instead. Theresa will see that we get the new
copies
of the installation ceremony.
Members of the Year: 2 this year...Dorothy Mohr who was not able to attend..works the rummage sales faithfully, helps at Safparc and is famous for her butterhorns at bakesales. Florence Onesti , Rummage sale
coordinator and Funeral dinner chair. We couldn't survive without Florence's expertise. Each were presented'with a 16vely'hanging basket of flowers. Small flowers were given to the officers, Pat Peer, Bernice Huebner,: .: :i~' -

The CCW OFFICERS only planning meeting will be held 8-2-05 at 7 at the center No meetings in June, July or August. Next meeting Sept.6. . Motion to adjourn by Carol Soufal, second-Theresa and carried.
