New Hope for the Bereaved
A support group for men and women who have lost someone through death. It meets to share feelings and ideas and find ways to cope with our grief. Sessions are held for six weeks both in the Spring and in the Fall. Contact Sacred Heart Center for exact dates and time.

Friends Through Loss
A group of men and women who have lost someone through death. We meet on a social level and sponsor one activity each month.

Get Well Cards
When you are in the hospital either in Shawano or area hospitals, a Get Well card is sent to you from the parish.

Visiting Nursing Homes
Members of this committee visit all of our parishioners in nursing homes several times a year.

Visiting the Home Bound
Members of this committee visit all of our home bound parishioners several times a year.

Welcoming Newcomers to Shawano
A letter of welcome is sent to all those who move into Shawano. It includes the location of our Church along with our Mass schedule.

Welcoming Newcomers to Sacred Heart Parish
Those entering our parish are welcomed through a personal call to set up a home visit to give them information about our parish and community. If we are unable to contact them, a letter of welcome is sent. We also encourage them to allow us to allow us to put their picture in our bulletin case in the church entrance. A list of all new parishioners is posted in this case.

Respect Life
The Respect Life group meets monthly to discuss awareness in the community and parish of respect for all life from birth to death. The sponsor several fund raisers during the year.
