Elementary Faith Formation

 

 

ELEMENTARY RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Grades K through 5
Wednesdays 3:30 - 5:00 PM 

  

The elementary program provides students with the basic concepts of our Catholic Faith.

 

1st Grade: Students begin by learning that God loves them.

 

2nd Grade: Experience the loving forgiveness of God in Reconciliation.

3rd Grade: Prepare to receive Jesus for the first time and begin to focus on the Mass.

 

4th Grade: Focuses on a deeper understanding of how we are called to live based on the sacraments and the beatitudes.

 

5th Grade: Studies the seven Sacraments centering on sacred signs as well as celebrations. We have developed a sacrament night for all of the 5th graders and their parents.
